The "Hard-Times"

A Tackhead Banjo

SOLD! Gary in Arkansas is going to be playing this one with Nyl-gut strings, thanks Gary!

I've started on another with the rim of White Oak.

Be ready for your Old Time jam or festival, this calf-skin, tack-head banjo is about as simple as you can get.

Mellow tone is easy on the ears, you can play that tune over and over, and your partners will love you.

The rim is 3-ply southern Magnolia, 11 inches in diameter, and the neck is 100 year-old Honduras Mahogany, strong and stable.

Grover Champion friction tuners, a wedge-lock neck fixture, with very little hardware to weigh you down.

Ebony tailpiece accepts either loop or ball end strings.

Set up with steel strings now, choice of Nyl-gut strings on customer request.

$600. plus shipping, nylon gig-bag included.
